THE RIVER

Swim with the flow ~

Against the stream only fish go.

Sit with the rock,

Bend with the reeds

Or dive onwards to the sea.

 

Runs the river of earth’s veins

And beside the flowing water

Life flourishes ~

Tread gently wayfarer

And seek the river

To the heart’s content.
